Make clients show eyewear?

Just wondering what all of your salon's policies are? do you trust that they are using it, or do you ask to see? I find asking to see it a little invasive, but our eye wear sales could stand to grow..

I do! And I write my stores name on the back of winkease to let us know if they're using them or not. If they show us a pair with our name we know they're not using them, and show them the scary pictures.

Def ask to see them! it is required by law to have them...do you want to be liable for them not having them because you thought it invasive to ask?

If I switched to selling only and not providing free, you bed I would!

But too many salons provide eyewear for free around here :(

I have something coming up though that may make it easier to transition.

We have not been asking clients to see, do you think we should put up a sign that says please have your eye wear out, at the counter? Or should we just start asking now and say its mandatory and our policy has changed? I know it might not seem like a big change but I do not want to deter clients.... (I know we are doing it for the benefit of them oh and some $$ in sales) but they might not feel that way. Please lend me some suggestions..
