Upgrade Dollars Ideas Needed - tanTALK

I read a post on here where someone had said they offered customers upgrade dollars. Where the customer pays say $10 for 15 upgrade dollars to use for upgrades in higher level beds. Just wanted to know if anyone else does this and how they offer it to there customers? Sounds like a good idea just wanted to get some feedback on this subject. Thanks.

i dont do it but you could do

buy a lotion get the price back in free upgrades
buy a package get $x free in upgrades
Sell upgrades as a package (which dosent make sense to me)

Best way to get people to upgrade is to give them 1 FREE.

I do it all the time, especially when busy. `1` free upgrade then they can either wait or pay.

i also have upgrade sales....where each upgrade is discounted on certain days...

sometimes i even tell people who i notice never upgrade that today we are having 1/2 price upgrades if they are interested.....just random way to make extra $$

We offer double the amount of Suns to our EFT clients. If they purchase our top 2 Suns packages there is a bit of a price break when using the upgrade beds. It's not much but it is a small savings.

I just upgrade them for dollars.Why make things confusing $10 for 15 upgrade dollars wtf? Why not keep it simple. We just charge $5 to upgrade to VHR and $14 to upgrade to Matrix plain and simple no bullsh*t.

^^^ We do the same, however we do use what is called "bonus bucks" in the system and we will on occasion sell 20 bonus buck for $10. It more to get people interested in upgrading. A repeating theme is that when one upgrades they start to do it a lot.

We are planning on starting comp dollars. This is kind of like the casino concept. When you buy a lotion, a certain percent of what you spend will come back to you in the form of comp dollars for upgrades. We are trying this in order to encourage our customers to buy here and not online!

I was thinking that too. I thought that they bonus bucks could convert to a percentage off up to 25% or something. So you could "Hey, you have 12 upgrades bucks. For you though you can get 12% off your next bottle...".

Or something like that.... dunno.

If someone wanted to use our level 5, which is a $10 upgrade, and they had comp dollars on their account, we were thinking that we would set it up where they could only use $5 comp dollars towards the level 5. Not really sure yet, we are still working it out.

If you purchase a lotion that is $40, we will give you 25% back in comp dollars to be used towards upgrades. So they would get $10 in comp dollars from that purchase. Or something like that?
