GLS ~vs~ Thomco - tanTALK

I dunno what is going on with Thomco insurance, but I'm not very pleased with their customer service so far!!!

My renewal is due Feb 10th, and I have always delt with Curtis over at GLS. Well, we all know that GLS is no more and is now Thomco.

Anyway, called the person over at Thomco that sent me the email regarding my renewal on Monday. She didn't call me back till Tuesday at 4:30pm. Talked to her about some changes I wanted to make to my policy, and she would email me out a revised policy quote right away.

Got the email Wed morning and there was a mistake on there that needed to be corrected before I sign and pay. Called her back at 11:00am on Wed morning and left message to call me. Nothing. Called her back last night and left another message. Nothing.

Not to sure about this company, but if this is the way they are gonna be treating customers, gonna have to switch to someone else!!!

yeah their weird. i recently installed security at my salon and called to see if i can get a discount on my policy cause i now have surveillance,a building alarm, as well as a new fire alarm system.

1st the lady told me they didnt offer such a discount. then after me bitcing i was told its already included in my policy, because they figure most salons have it. Then my next months payment had a $50 discount applied with no reason given.....

Universal has been great. When I shopped around they had better rates then GLS, Thomco, or Insurtec.

MY Renewal is in season so i think ill shop. been doing biz with them for 6yrs....their on way out

im paying $136 and i put like 350 down. 8 pieces of equipment.

Yeah, but what is your premium for? Ya know, 100,000, 200,000???
