Just a heads up....Monday i was on myspace promoting by sending coupons to people as comments. Sent a bunch of $5 off visit packages and $10 off unlimited coupons

yesterday a girl came in used the $5 discounnt and spent $60. she hasnt been here in 3 months.....heres the kick........we only made $64 that day!

would have been a real bad day if i didnt promote on myspace monday. Got 2 more in today before i left at 4:30

speaking of facebook. i gotta get on there more. had a request from there today from another client. after i approved her she wrote" i luv this salon its my fav and the best eva" on my wall.......good promo right there

im all over the internet
myspace 500 friends all basically in my area
facebook 100 maybe im slacking there...not user friendly for me
my website...updating constantly
and Merchant Circle.com (free)

if u search tanning my town i come up number 2 on google! (and i dont pay 4 it)

we usually send out our coupons on the bulletins on myspace that way it hits all of "your friends" at once. we have had a really good turn out from it. if we are doing sales or specials we advertise it on there before hand and offer credit orders over the phone too if they cant make it in. we get alot of questions about tanning/spray and people looking for jobs. i think its great and its free!!!

yea i do the bulletins too. but i think for me the comments work best.

plus it provides a opportunity for exsposure to non friends.

How do you get the comments/bulletins to actually look like coupons??? I tried copying and pasting my online coupon that was done with MS Publisher and it only copied the wording. It didint look like a coupon at all. Please help.

ok, i know i am old, but could you youngsters tell me how to get this set up? And once set up do you tell all your customers your facebook address? do you set it up as a business...or under your name. Completely lost, but looking to learn.
