How do you sell it? What do you tell clients about it? Do you have plenty of signage about it in the salon? What do the people that have tried it say? Do they see results?

Re: Skin Rejuvenation
Personally I don't really push it. I tried it with a few people for free when I first got it. They didn't see significant results after 20 sessions. I dropped the price of it to $349 for 20 sessions (including the 3 step packets) and no one really wants to spend that much money. I have the pamphlets out and people ask about it. I tell them the price and they run away quickly. I only will push something I believe in so I think that hinders the sales greatly. If anyone has a newer SunStar 332 and would like to trade for a Rejuvasun I'd do it in a second.

Re: Skin Rejuvenation
I haven't tested the ETS Rejuvasun (I have tested several others offering both LED and LP emitting in the orange/red region) but there is no reason to believe that it won't work IF SOLD PROPERLY.
By this I mean that skin rejuvenation doesn't happen overnight; rather, it takes 60-90 days (of two sessions per week for 20 minutes per session) before much change is noticed and 6-12 months before significant improvement will be observable. The best way to sell this service (IMHO) is to stress that a series of sessions will both rejuvenate the skin and prevent future deterioration. Folks expecting "immediate improvement" WILL be disappointed. |

Re: Skin Rejuvenation
ETS recommends 3x per week for 4 weeks then 1x per week for 8 weeks then repeat. I believe the theory is there and it should work. It just requires too much time, effort and money for clients in my area. The two people I did let try it for free did complete 12 weeks of treatment. I guess I kinda gave up on the idea after that.

Re: Skin Rejuvenation
It's hard (but not impossible) to sell a "long term" program to a "instant gratification" culture.
The "key" is that the results are "natural" and a lot less expensive (and less painful) than skin peels, surgery, etc. |

Re: Skin Rejuvenation
I have the Rejuvasun. Same problem. Noone wants to spend the money, plus I'm in a college area-they don't think they need it or can afford. I have 1 person w/ the year-pd in cash at $489 & the other customer was paying $35.99 EFT-her pkg has expired. Offer 1 free use w/ any 1 month pkg.-not many bites. I can't use it as just a tanning bed yet, as I don't have Helios(never utilized the conversion program-techs didn't help any).
I like using it, but don't use it enough. Hear it's great for acne-no serum though. I'm stuck for now, so am going to remarket it this fall. Hopefully will get something out of it-waste of a monthly payment!! |
