Re: Good idea to offer unlimited?

How about everybody in this industry wakes up a bit, just a bit, and "GET RID OF THE MONTHLY UNLIMITED, YOU'RE NOT MAKING ANY FU***** MONEY DEAL!!!"

How about charging $15.00 up front and for a whole month you can get 20%, 30%, 40% or even 50% per session?

if you have a client that comes in and tans 3 times per week and you charge 10$ on a certain bed, take $15.00 up front and have them come and pay $5.00 a visit for the month... Tell them, it's 50% off!! That's a great deal! and it is... No?

$5.00 x 12 sessions = $60.00 + $15.00 up front and you've just made that $40 "unlimited" into $75!!!

You've just increased your sales by 40%

You're welcome...

I have noticed that if it gets to confusing to a customer they shut down and all they hear you say is, blah blah blah, they want it simple and to the point.

I agree with that. My goal is not to confuse the customer or secretly rip them off.
Sure I want to make money but making your customers feel tricked is not going to keep them coming back. I'm honest and straight-forward with my tanners and I think they appreciate that.

This is a great idea for the fall months to get them back in there

Other than that you should make a monthly package and then do multiple monthly packages as specials and what you can do is whatever you price the month at make "each additional month" like 25% cheaper. So if your month is $40 then give em the option of adding another month for $30each. You can do that at the time of sign up AND you can use it as a base for making up like 3 month packages. You don't want to discount too much cause people will expect it.

,

Also, if you find that people are short term tanners do smaller deals like $35 for 3 weeks. They will see that the month is $40 and mostlikely jump on that one.

Mixing it up is the best way.
