Re: Customer's brats in waiting room
We have a big sign up in salon that says all unattended children leave with a free kitten....works great!

Re: Customer's brats in waiting room
Luckily we've never had this problem, the few children that come in I want to take home they behave so well! lol I did make a flyer for a hair salon because they had a problem, I'll try to find it I don't recall what I put on it.

Re: Customer's brats in waiting room
My wife has the same policy. There are too many things that can go wrong, and being the business owner, you're always going to be held liable when something bad happens on your property. My sensitive side says to put your foot down and hold fast to the policy; always protect yourself, even if it means losing a customer - you may lose more than that if you give in. My practical, experienced side says send the customer to my store and her kids can play with mine; or help wash beds, or sweep the floor, or change lamps ... the possibilities are endless. Good luck with this. -Belvy

Re: Customer's brats in waiting room
people's kids drive me crazy!!! we had a women acctually leave her infant in the waiting room!! we simply tell parents that if you wouldnt leave your kids at home by themselves then you can't leave them in our salon by themselves. we also explain that for insurance reasons we can not watch their kids. if they have a problem with that they can bring their brats to my compition and they can distroy their salon, lol
