I'd be offended, too! I've NEVER had a customer say anything like that to me about my store, ever. As a customer I wouldn't even think of asking that because it wouldn't cross my mind.

vent all you want it does help! but don't take it out on your customer. i would've asked the customer if that had happened to them before and is there anything you can say that would make them understand you don't do business that way.

Just continue to vent some people tend to overreact the one good suggestion was to maybe wave or reduce the sign up fee if she was that hung up on it. You have overcome many more obstacles opening and operating your own business to let anyone on this forum or one B*&*chy customer get to you so VENT! away that's what we're here for!!

I would'nt wave anything! Once in a while we have people (usually women) come into our salon all superior acting, thinking the world revolves around them. You have to set them straight immediatly. Why should she get a discount just because she has an attitude? Other people pay the full amount and are fine with it. Sometimes with people like that you are better off letting them go to another salon. Those types of people can cause you big problems. It's better to let your competition have a pain in the a$$!

I would just let the girl know how long you've been in business and if she would like to talk to other customers for their input. If she keeps being a ***** I would just have to say please tan elsewhere!
