OPINIONS
Just wondering if any of you have customer comments cards or surverys for your clients to fill out?
I was thinking about make a questionaire and giving it to clients with a self addressed and stamped envelope so they could take it fill in out and mail it in. That way it is completely unanimous. Any thoughts? |

Re: OPINIONS
Funny, we were just thinking the same thing! We were also going to put a box out for them to put in. I found really cute ones at Office Depot. We haven't made up the cards yet, what kind of questions were you thinking about asking?

Re: OPINIONS
we had thought about doing a box they could drop them in. But weren't sure if they would hesitate doing that because we could immediately take them out and read them. That's why we were debating the whole mailing them in.
Questions we were thinking about were: customer service friendliness of staff? knowledge of staff on products? and packages? Our salon The cleanliness? Would you change anything we do? how do our hours work? Pricing How is our package pricing? Would you rather tanning month unlimited or by the sessions? Is there enough variety in prodcuts and their pricing? Any thoughts on things you were gonna ask... or suggestions Of course by asking these questions doesn't mean I am going to completely change things like hours and prices. We are just curious as to what people think. |

Re: OPINIONS
We did that about 3 months after we bought our salon and requested no signature from the person being question because we wanted brutal honesty.. It worked wonderful for us. It actually lead to to the termination of an employee because we recieved so many complaints about her. Good Luck

Re: OPINIONS
I don't own a salon but, I'd be hesitant to ask a question about pricing such as "how are our package prices?" Because customers don't know your overhead, and if they all say "well, it would be great if you cut package prices in half" then you don't lower them, they think you aren't taking their comments seriously. If you know you aren't going to change something, such as pricing or hours, it's going to lead to unhappy customers by leading them to believe they have a say in something that isn't going to change either way. Though something like "How do our hours work for you" isn't going to cause as much trouble as asking about prices, I don't think.
