Re: do you have customer price list

Anyway how did you know your comp. copied your stuff?...

you got their price sheet?...

It's good to have that info, you have to be competitive.

It's only bad if you obsess about someone else's business, rather than focusing on yours.

we don't have them for hand outs either. THe email thing sounds like a good idea.

We have a price sheet printed for our employees only.

Re: do you have customer price list

No price list - i would past them on cars all day if it wouldnt **** people off. Wont give prices over the phone - yeah that would get me in the door. You dont want people like me - you mean people that want to spend money. Where did you take marketing? You have seen the Sunday paper, you have seen all the thick advertisments. The **** thing is 8 pounds because of the ads. **** i put prices in our YP add. Those companies want thier prices in the hands of as many people as possible - i wonder why? Maybe they took marketing somewhere else.

Tanning can be confusing and you want people in the best bed possible and a simple direct price list can be the first way to break this down. I have found many people want to go over the info and not be botherd until they have questions. During busy season how do i sell to 3 or 4 people at once with out a stack price sheets - you know the money spenders.

Low cost. Simple. Easy to understand. 1 page.
Black and white, keep it cheap but neat and flowing. List each unit with your 6 or seven most popular packages. List with the upgrade units 1 sentence as to way it is better the the beds below it.

Come on the season is upon us i can just feel it coming - i love January.

"During busy season how do i sell to 3 or 4 people at once with out a stack price sheets - you know the money spenders."

It called knowing what you are doing. Price sheets are NOT sales staff, they will not up-sell or find the best package. When they come to the desk, why go over it all again when DO try to up-sell. Its why we have more than one person on staff and more than one workstation.

I would hate to come to your salon when its busy! "Hello, do have packages or a price list?". Response: "Sure, here is a sheet now go sit down and read it, I am too busy to give you personal attention til you have cash waving at me."

Do what works best for you in your area. We have standards here and would never treat them like cattle or even think of plastering cars with flyers. In large cities maybe thats the expectation, but around here we are expected to treat customers well and memorize their names, the lotions they use and where they will be heading to vacation in a week!

Re: do you have customer price list

Pricing is something that shoud be explained by your staff in your salon. Market your memberships the rest gets explained in your salon.

Re: do you have customer price list

Nice reply unity.

For me a price list works. One large counter 3 computers and really knowing what im doing thats how i do it. Most people know what they are there for we discussed it on the phone or they are repeat customers. Most people want in a bed as quick as possible. You do see them on thier cell phone dont you? Cant explain to them they must read. We also send them to the website to look at the beds before they come in. I use the web site as much as possible. No prices just the beds, pick the bed before you come in. I just have found throwing too much info at a customer that they dont understand. Yes stand at my counter and look over the price sheet any questions let me know ill be right with you. No pressure.

The women who ran the salon before me were sell sell sell - wheres you lotion - buy buy buy this - let me explain every fie deatail to you while 10 people stand behind making you hot. During this time period for years at night we would have this 45 minute to an hour wait every night for 3 or 4 hours for three months it was ****. They leave and after two years we dont have this wait at night no more all the time likeuse too i cant figure it out. We are doing a total number of people about the same though. As it turned out alot of the poeple were coming at night because the kinds (us) just ran it more effectivly. After the two women were and customers found out they starting coming more in the day.

I can give the attention that you need and help others at the same time and be very effective in doing so. You dont need alot of customers standing at your counter trying to figure out what to do. Get them in bed, sell, read a price list , fill out this form, run a credit card - multiple things multiple cutomers.

You ever see someone at the grocery store using the self check out thing for the first time and they screw it up because they thought it would be easy. They also have 6 people in line watching what there doing and getting pissy about the wait. That guy or me waht every the case may be youve seen him he starts getting all hot and nervous because he knows hes holding people up. The whole line is now ****** off or angry (dont put it back in the basket sir leave it on the scale sir - get your kid off the scale sir.

I also work with the girls on helping more than one customer at a time. **** alot of time ill have a customer stand right there and help me sell a bottle of lotion to someone else. Gets customers to talk to each and fell more comfortable. Works for me - maybe im just busier than you are.

Re: do you have customer price list

Why hide your prices??? I'm with top250 for the most part. I always send someone on the phone directly to my website to check out my beds so they can see exactly what I have without even starting their car. Prices on there? Yep, sure are. People are happy to be able to look over everything before entering the salon. Not to mention, when they do go to my website they see that they can tan in any of my beds for free (on first visit) if they mention my internet special! What better way to get them to drive to your salon than the one up the street... They come in for the free tan, see the place and don't even think twice about doing any more shopping around. - www.thesolarexpress.net
