should you give refunds on airbrush/spray tans when people dont like them, or obviously dont take care of them. we actually include the lotion to maintain it in the price with the airbrush package (not the spray for cheapos), but when they use the wrong soap or do not moisturize and mess it up, what do u do? We will do touch ups within three days free of charge, but thats it. we tell them it lasts anywhere from 7-14 days depending on how well they take care of it. then, they come back in 7-8 days and want their money back. I kinda wish we never started doing it, but so many people love it and keep coming back for more. maybe there should be a prescreening process first (ha ha)

nope - no refunds when it is their fault!

i MAY give a discount the next day only if for SOME reason i am feeling generous -

7 days later?! who are they kidding? that's like coming in 2 weeks after their package expired and saying they got sick a month ago or they were busy and could they please get a credit! HECK NO

I'd tell them that its not your solution, you haven't had any other complaints. I have to do that with the Mystic booth sometimes. If everyone else is doing well with it, guess who's problem it is? Not Mine.

I don't give refunds period. I use really high quality solution and it costs money and my time to spray them. No Refunds is stated on their receipt when they buy. I will retouch the next day only free of charge. No refunds here, especially 7 days later when I have no idea what they have been doing to maintain!! It's up to them - I give them all the information they would need to maintain that tan up for 2+ weeks. Not my problem if they don't listen to my expertise!! LOL ;)

I really hope this is your only customer who has made a request like this...7 DAYS!!! Maybe you need a sign that they can read as you spray saying something like 'guaranteed for 24 hours'.

Are you over selling your clients on the tan they can expect and how long it will last?
Do you really tell them 2+ weeks Sunbaby? What system and solution and do you have and what advice do you tell them? 2+ weeks seems like a very long time.

I tell my clients a good 10-12 days depending on how well they take care of their skin...some of my girls get 2 weeks...but they follow all rules!
