Does anyone rent out a room or space for hair? - Page 2

I will do a person that works 4-5 days a week. I just have a couple people asking if they did it on like a Monday night once a week. i dont want 1 person here and there. This would be a 2nd person that rents once a week.

I would get a split of all revenue with a minimum amount they must pay each week. If they do well you do well. If they are slacking you at least get the minimum.

Won't the salon smell like hair coloring? I think you need different licenses to do hair in your salon.

In Ohio we have different licenses for the hair and tanning services.

Check into it.. again it's Ohio, but there's rules like you have to have a room with running hot and cold water dedicated to the stylists to mix the chemicals.. it's called a dispensary..

Check into your state regulations..

I rent rooms to my massage therapists and estheticians for $400/mth. Hair Dressers pay $500/mth. They pay more because they have three spaces. One to cut, style, color, etc. One to shampoo, and one with hair dryers. They have their own business licenses and insurance (as independant contractors), and have to deal with the state board themselves.
