On the flip side is the Massage pricing again, with a logo on the left side and the description of the modalities, time frames, prices etc...

When a client comes in we just pull it out and show them. When they ask for something to take, we give them a business card (2X2, looks chic vs. a standard card size) and direct them to the website so they can refer to the prices at their leisure.

Oooh, I like that idea Jeff. I'm not a big fan of the handouts for the reason you stated above...pricing gets out dated but the handout is still out there in circulation. I will have to look into the bigger business cards, sounds classy.

Re: How do you have your.....

When I have someone come in wanting a price list , who takes it and tries to leave, without me explaining anything. I can usually stop them with " the video store is the cheapest in town, but they only have 4 beds." I then name all of the other competition in town -most of which is real close to our pricing $1 or $2. We differientiate ourselves by the number of beds and our service and cleanliness and we are the only tanning only salon.

I like to let them know we're not the cheapest. It stops them from trying to get us to price match. It seems like those clients take the most time ,spend the least money and they always seem to want something for free, like you're getting rich off of them.

I feel better now......

Our Prices are in a nice brochure. The Brochure is a tri fold when you open one side
It has Tanning packages Upgrade fees ect..
When you open the flyer from other direction it is Sunless prices, Sunless details ect..
The brochures look very professional and the customers enjoy how well it explains
Our Salon’s

Re: How do you have your.....

We have a brochure that lists all our pricing but also shows pictures of the equipment so the tanner knows what they are buying with their money. Even if they have never been in the salon, it works to our advantage because our equipment is better then our competitors.
