Re: Management for a Chain
I just had a client ask if I was interested in expanding to another location in the area. Not really.... I have my work cut out for me with this one alone thank you!

Re: Management for a Chain
I'm not sure you can hire one person to do all that you're asking as well as work the counter. I run two salons in a similiar capacity (although i do have an accounts mang. handle acct. payables and our eft draftss) as it is it requires between 50-60 hours per week. We will be opening a third store soon, but when that happens i will no longer be on the counter regularly. I'll also have an asst. mang. in each location. my pay is a combo of salary and commission and works out to roughly $50,000. keep in mind that's only two stores.

Re: Management for a Chain
Depends on the Volume. The higher the Volume....Obviously...Need to give a higher pay
I use to be an Area Manager of three salons. Two were very high volume and the third was a new business. I made a base salary, plus commission, and could bonus up to $800 a month between all three salons. I also had 2 weeks paid vacation, gas mileage paid for, and a company card for odds and ends. I actually had two manager's who did most of the running of the floor, ie- scheduling, employee issues, customer service...they would report to me so I was on the back end of things more and just checkin up on their work..And when I was on the floor selling....I made the commission too... |
