Could I get an experienced mgr for $40k a year?
I a have an existing salon for 4 years. Do you think I can get an experienced manager that has proven sales and customer service background that would really put some effort and care into the store if they could earn $40k? I sure need one! I'm not talking about someone who has been around the industry for a long time and thats it. I mean some who has salon experience but can continue to help grow the business!?

Re: Could I get an experienced mgr for $40k a year?
Yes i think you can. I would look for someone that may be a manager at a smaller salon. Getting someone that has been in the industry a long while may be the problem. I benn doning this for 11 or 12 years but would not leave the salon i a, at unless it was a fantastic chance. Every year I learn something new though. Take a chance on someone that may have been in the business for a few years.

Marca. Ssshhhh. This could be Neon's chance to get out of that **** freezer and come south.
(Sounds strange to call northern Illinois "south") |

Re: Could I get an experienced mgr for $40k a year?
I would probably offer them 28K with a bonus of $250 a week payable once a month in the following month. Bonuses help keep your employee motivated instead of waiting a year for a raise and losing momentum. It also helps them to keep goals in perspective.
