To good to be true

about 3 weeks ago hired a new employee, she has never worked in a salon before. We did 2 days of training before i had her work the ftw with me, showed her the computer. she took her own initiative to learn on the lotions, she spent time at home too. her performance is great and she is great with the customers i get compliments the next day after leaving her here alone all the time. is it just to good to be true? what have you all experienced

Yep. 3 weeks of training is MORE than enough. Around here she would be ready for a promotion to store manager.

could be, but go with it and enjoy. Yet keep your eyes and ears open.

sometimes we just get lucky..... some people are just raised to have good work ethic.....
Perhaps she really wants a job and that makes alot of difference....

then again I will be simon perhaps she is just showing off for the first little while until she gets comfortable and then she will be a crummy employee...

I would go with sounds like you have got a great employee now just let her know she god but don't give her a big head!!! :)

Sounds good. I just dont want to think i did good hiring someone and then after a month or so have it all fall apart. Store Manager? def not. but i think she does her job well.. thanks for the input.

It does not have to be to good to be true, there are people out there that actually do take thier job seriously and have a great work ethic.

We had the same experience with a couple of employees. 4 years latter they are still with us and still enthusiastic.
