Advice on Upgrading Equipment

I currently have 12 beds in the salon and would like to get rid of 3 Sunvision Pro 24 S, and 2 Sunvision Pro 28 LE 2F... What is my best way to go about selling these beds and upgrading to maybe a couple of better beds???

Re: Advice on Upgrading Equipment

Before you go and get rid of anything or buy anything you need to know what equipment your salon and market NEEDS. I'm sure one of the smarter people will be along soon to help but you may want to post some specifics of your salon and the market you are serving. You'll always be leaving money on the table if you don't have the proper equipment mix and pricing for your market.

Re: Advice on Upgrading Equipment

For example ---

If you want to get rid of 3 Sunvision 24 and 2 Pro 282F -- are they currently your Level 1 and Level 2 beds? The same level? How much do you charge on a walk-in? Do you offer discounted EFT's on these beds? What is your next highest piece of equipment?

See - we need to determine what your "mix" is now, to see what you could improve. Do you want to continue with a 24 lamp no facial bed, but just a newer model? Or are you looking at getting more competitive, maybe a newer (but not necessarily "new") 32 lamp bed.

Also - what is your budget? Do you have 5K to spend total? Or 25K? Could your current "level 3" bed (if there is one), become your "level 1" and maybe add beds to the top end instead?

What room sizes and electrical do you have to work with?

PM me if you prefer, but these are the sorts of things you would need to consider before deciding what to do when upgrading your equipment.
