The salon I work at has actual car stereos installed into the beds, then there's speakers that lay under the bed. I HATE THEM. People bring in their own CD's and just BLAST the music. To the point where I cannot even speak with the customers coming in..... I would suggest headphones. That's my only opinion on that.

We've decided to go with XM Commercial system and in wall speakers. I really wanted ipod speaker docs but I am a little turned off to listening to 9 different random music choices! First tanner makes music choice unless it's country I am allergic to country so that won't happen! I prefer Hitlist on XM less vulgarity than some of the others. Of course, I love the 80's, not sure anyone else will though! If I could I would play all trance and techno and make it like a hip *** bar or Abercrombie... LOL

One of nicest set ups I have seen was 4 stereo's out front playing 4 different stations, a wall plate in each room with 4 head phone jacks in it and a label on each stating which station it was, gives them choice of 4 and forces headphone useage so music isn't too loud. Pretty much has to be installed during build out though.
