Adding Waxing

In PA do you need a cosmetic shop lic. to do waxing?

I have a tech who is licensed, is that all I need?

Trying to talk to a person at the cosmetology board is crazy. On Hold forever. Their website is unclear.

Before somoene told me since tanning salons are unregulated in PA, we don't need anything , only if we are doing Hair Styling.

Anybody know.

Don't know about PA but here in AZ we needed to get a license for the State Board of Cosmetology just for our Spray Booth.

I would think you would need it for waxing as they have to be licensed to do waxing so you would need a license for the salon showing that the person doing the service is licensed.
