George Costanza: Here's the outlet.
Slippery Pete: The what? George Costanza: The outlet. Where the electricity comes from. Slippery Pete: Oh, you mean the holes. |

Re: problems with TanTRACK software
What you are describing sounds like a database mismatch error that usually happens after you upgrade to a newer version.
When was the last time you updated and to what version? I briefly had that problem about 4 upgrades ago, but I kept on top of the upgrades and it fixed itself on the next version.. Also, having been a network admin for a couple hundred servers that generated millions of revenue a day (billing servers for Sprint PCS), I can't stress the importance of backing up your data BEFORE you upgrade. Always upgrade to a new location. I use a folder with the vesion of software for teh folder name. This way, if I upgrade and the system screws up....I wipe the whole install and then restore from the last version that worked. This is especially helpful if you're having to upgrade several versions at one time (because if you're a certain point behind, you sometimes can't just jump all the way to teh most current). Hope this helped. John |

Re: problems with TanTRACK software
I wish they would come up with a report at the end of the day that would tell us how many of package x or y or z was used, and the revenue from those packages. Would make accounting much simpler

Re: problems with TanTRACK software
I'm also getting the window's message that says it has to close TT. I have talked to tech support many times, but no fix. It didn't start after loading the lastest version; it started with the version before that. I've got another computer problem also, and I'm having the "Geeks" come back on Saturday (for the forth redo) to try to find it. They seem to think it's a window's thing. It's too isolated to be a virus.
