What brand of body wrap are you using. Customers here want to lose fast inches of water weight for those special events they are going to. Whats a good brand and where do I buy them from. Thanks

Smile Re: Body Wraps

I have only had my Formostar Infrared Body Wrap for 6 months, I bought it off of ebay for really cheap, but it is an amazing wrap. When we first opend our salon it was a huge success, then when the summer came it died down because it is so hot outside, but I expect it to pick back up during the busy season.

With it, clients lose inches of fat, smooth cellulit, detoxify the body, reduce stretch marks, helps with post pregnancy recovery and releives chronic pain, so not only are the people who want to loose weight using it but also the people who have bad pain due to surgeries, car accidents, ect...

so the Formostar is what I would recommend.

Re: Body Wraps

Oh yeah, you can buy this one from SunPower Source, their website is sunpowersource.com, I think they also have a new one out too.

Good Luck!

Re: Body Wraps

Agreed on the Formostar unit. I brought it into the salon for greedy, personal reasons, my back hurt like **** and the chiropractor was using IR therapy to treat it.

Feedback from clients has been very positive with minimal advertising to date. Only a selective mailing to databasae, and e-mail blasts.

Re: Body Wraps

How long does it take to "wrap" somebody? And what is the average session fee?

Re: Body Wraps

~5 minutes for a wrap. Check up on the client every 10-15 minutes, just to say "hi" ;) approach with package pricing at the last 10 minute mark, when they feel it working.

$79 singles

6 for $420

10 for $599

20 for $999

First timers get a discount on packages, with $49 into session.

Re: Body Wraps

We have our packages starting at $45.00 per wrap, and the more wraps purchased then more of a the discount.

I know we dont charge what we should but it we get more sales in this area by offering a lower price and I beleive in it so much and want to help my customers with their problems. I dont want to charge that much and someone be unhappy with paying a lot for one wrap and not like it. So we keep the price low so that they are happy with the results and keep coming back for more!

These are our package prices

1 Wrap $45.00
2 Wraps $84.00
4 Wraps $156.00
6 Wraps $216.00
8 Wraps $264.00

This holiday we have a special promotion, which is when you purchase 4 bodywraps at $156.00, they receive one free, 6 Wraps at $216.00 receive 2 free, and 8 Wraps at $264 receive 3 free.

Having specials always helps.

If you take before and after measurements of the customer if they want that done, it usually takes about 5-7 minutes to do the measurements, do the wrap process and then you just check on them every 15 to 20 minutes to make sure that they are doing okay. We also have walkie talkies that use, and if the customer needs anything between that time they just use that to reach us.

Its a very easy process, I highly recommend using it. I beleive in it and wouldn't recommend anything else.

If anyone has any questions I'm more than happy to answer them if I can.

Good Luck!

Re: Body Wraps

How expensive is it to get started up with the Formostar wraps? I would love to add that service, but I cannot find out anything for pricing. Ebay has one for $5000......is that about right?
