Here's the question, does the bed that JM has have 24 lamps in the canopy or 16? |

Re: Help me decide
I asked her on the other site about the lamps and I'm not sure if she answered yet. If it's the 18 and 18 then then owe her some money I'd say.
I saw that Alaska thing to but she did get her's in Ohio so they just haven't updated that site I guess.

Re: Help me decide
It's like they'r trying to trick you into paying a grand or whatever more for 2 extra lamps. I think I'll call and get them to explain the big difference.

Re: Help me decide
BUT the one she paid for should be a 24x16 lamp setup. They got:
16x16 with 120watt lamps, 3 facials 15min(3500 model) 18x18 with 140watt lamps, 3 facials 15min(3500 model) 24x16 with 160x120watts, 3 facials 15min. (4000model) SO they REALLY owe her 8 lamps. THAT'S a HUGE difference...which doesn't make any sense since they are all 15min setups. Hmmmmm. |

Re: Help me decide
And that bed should never have had those ballast and lamps in there to begin with. She must have the 18 and 18.

Re: Help me decide
Yes well we are going through all this right now......
The beds I ordered (I got 2) were the 4000 with 18 160w on top 18 120w on bottom and 3 400w facials. I received 36 140w lamps (AND ballasts) w/the 3 400w facials. It has been explained to me that it was simple miscommunication and they will fix it if i want them to. They make these beds in St Louis and can pretty much make them any way you want. I keep going back and forth what I want them to do. This bed is not running yet (In the salon but not hooked up) so as far as tanning....I go by my husband, who got to tan in the 4000 when he went to St Louis (the 160w top, 120w bottom). The bed pretty much kicked *** for the 10 minutes he was in there....he doesn't tan all that much - he got lots of color. Of course we'll have to see what 140w all around does...he gets to make the comparison. But what has been explained to me it that technology in tanning lamps has come such a long way in the last few years that there is not much difference between 140 and 160....it's the amount of total UV coming out of the lamps that makes a bigger difference. If I get the best possible lamp for this bed - would 160 over 120 really be better than 140 all around???
