Re: In-House Credit and EFT

what am i a bank! Cripes, if you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it. I wouldn't extend credit even to my best, If they are my big spenders and the best they would never need to ask for credit..

Re: In-House Credit and EFT

When I bought the salon it had EFTs set up through a company that charged $50/month plus a % and only did checking account debits. If there wasn't enough in the account I had to call the customer and take care of it. I checked with my credit card company and they sold some software to me for $350, set another merchant # for the software at no charge with no monthly fee just % (less than the company charged) and now I do all of my own (a couple minutes to set up a new client then twice a month I hit the send button to process all for that date) and I can take credit cards and debit cards.

Re: In-House Credit and EFT

I run EFTs and have done this in-house credit thing too. The in-house works like this though, they refer a new person who in turn buys a package and I will credit their account $10. They can only use $30/mo which is still short on a one month package. They all love it cuz they can build up the credit, I love it cuz they are sending in new clients for new packages. It's a win/win situation.
