Re: So how is business for everyone?? please ro..
Intresting thing happened yesterday... kinda pretains to this thread. I had a client who a few months back started working at a tanning salon 30 miles north of me in a University town (once known to be the #1 party school in america) anyways she still has like 3 prepaid tans with me... so occasionally she stops in and tans since she does live here. I asked her yesterday how business was up there ( i was curious if they were seeing the same amount of tanners as I was) she said they were averaging about 35 a day! I was shocked. I figured they would be slammed...being near the college and spring break growing near. The market up there is flooded and rent is high, but now I am seeing how it can be a stuggle in bigger markets. I think some of us small towners might have it made

Busy season doesn't look like it will cover the rest of the season's debts for me, so lets hear more about that drug business? Think I can sell tylenol's?

Re: So how is business for everyone?? please ro..
Last week I was slammed this week it's slower 6:30 and only 50 customers thus far......errr....I am not greedy I just want enough for an average salary and to help with the slow season stress attacks.....Some of my more brillant customers have suggested I stand on the side of the road in a bikini (is that legal?) or offer free lotion rubs from employees for $10 extra a month.....others think we should all work in bikinis.....not sure its exactly come to any of those tactics yet.....
On a serious note does anyone know a good company to order a bathing suit line from... |

Re: So how is business for everyone?? please ro..
We are actually having a slow day, but February has been our best month ever, and we have been open a little over a year. We had a promotional offereing on some sessions packages, and gave 50% off a bunch of lotions that hadn't moved all year, and that definitely helped increase sales. Looking forward to seeing a better year this year, the first year was very difficult ... I just hope it gets better each year. We will continue to put our heart and soul into it, and it is a fun business!!
