Re: So how is business for everyone?? please ro..

70 peeps a day is awesome for me. And the money is good so far. Our season started like Jan 2. Slow season we were doing like 20 to 23 a day..

up and down..kind of scary when everyone here says this is the busy season..and save save save....for slow season. We will tan 75 people one day and 25 the next with hardly enough money because of memberships

Holy Crap! Today turned out much better than I had even thought that it would. Both money and people are up. We aren't "in" season yet, but man, we are getting close.

Pretty slow here, this weather sucks, too warm-not cold enough. Numbers seem to be down.

Im cutting it close with my renovations and grand re opening party... About 3 weeks left and about 300 things still to do. Unfortunately over budget and Im just going to have to put some things off, which is annoying b/c I wanted everything 100% by party. Either way Im getting scared b/c Im getting about 10 ppl a day and the place looks like shiit

Being close to a college campus now=BUSY, BUSY. Students are thinking about spring break. Last year (our first year) we had a hard time getting everyone tanned because they would all come in from 1:00 pm til 5:00 pm. With 10 beds we had a wait of 30 to 45 minutes. This year we eliminated that problem. We offer an Early bird/ Night owl special. From 9:00 am til noon and from 7:00 pm til 10;00 anyone can buy a 30 day unlimited for $39.99, and they can tan in any level bed. It really evens out our day and allows our other tanning package customers to tan in the middle of the afternoon without a long wait. We are tanning about 150 a day and increasing that every day. I think we will peak in a couple of weeks doing about 200-250. Maybe we'll have to extend hours then.

Parrot head I like your earlybird/night owl specials. I do have early bird specials on singles, but never thought of offering an any level package during that time. GREAT IDEA!!!

over 800 and then only 35? Does that stress you out when you have a 35 dollar day? I was just wondering. Not that it doesnt happen to me. Here it is February, its supposed to be busy, and one day last week or the week before I only made 29.00. But it stresses me out.

Re: So how is business for everyone?? please ro..

we have really done well so far this yr. We are going into our third busy season and our income is up 75% in jan and 55% in feb so far. We are tanning about 35-45 people a day avg about 200 aday in income but it is up one day and done the other. our busiest month last yr was april. So I am still hoping for great things.I am very pleased with were we are at. But still catching up the bills from nov dec. I have a few promotions I am trying to get started with the high schools but with the sales I have now I am worried my 5 bed salon will be able to service the traffic. Hope every ones season is a great one
