We do not put trash cans in the room. Customers can leave their trash on the seat in the room but most bring it out with them and throw it away in the can at the end of the counter. Whoever cleans the bed, cleans the room. I do not want any sign that another customer was in there before. This includes checking behind the beds regularly for all sorts of nasty things.

I had a girl throw up in the room last night! She said she didnt want to throw up on the floor so she did it in our trash can. However we have wire trashcans and we dont put bags in them. Thank God I wasnt working, I would have gotten sick myself trying to clean it up!

no, she was just sick. I think the heat from the bed made it worse.

Yuck- a crapper? Haven't had anyone do that yet, but we've had peeiers and documented it in their profile to remove can from room before they tan. The counter girl says" one moment while I get your room ready" and takes the can out. We hope they see her remove it cause it gets the point across with out really saying anything.
