Re: Matrix Pricing

I agree ^^^^^^^ never understood the concept of unlimited on premium LP or HP. It's way too much tanning if a customer wants to tan 12+ times & i surely would never allow sharing on any unlimited.

I do suggest you consider pkg.'s as at least one way to structure your pricing. We used to offer 3, 6 , 10, 15 , 24, 36.....way too many choices. Keep it simple. 5 , 10 , 15 works pretty well for us & doesn't overwhelm the customer w/ too many choices. I'm sure mines not the best but feel free to check out our web site @ www.hawaiianbronze.com

Re: Matrix Pricing

Thanks for the advice. We currently have the $19 package and charge for upgrades. We also have 5 and 10-packs and of course single tans.

I still need some advice on whether to offer unlimited tanning on our level 2 and 3 beds. I have some clients who only tan on them and only during the season. I really want to build my EFT for slow times. This fall/winter is killing me!

Re: Matrix Pricing

I am seriously trying to add in a HP- thinking of the Matrix- but need to move walls and stuff. Firstly, is it really worth the building and electric upgrade?? and secondly, if 12 tans a month is too much, how many tans can you expect a experienced tanner to upgrade a month.

Re: Matrix Pricing

I love the Matrix, although changing the bulbs is a nightmare! We have several clients who only tan on the Matrix. Usually 2x per week. It was put it in when the salon opened so additional build-out was not an issue. Our other clients who upgrade to the Matrix do so about 1-4 times per month. Does your competition offer HP? If not, it is a great draw for your salon.

I can't offer any advice about whether it is worth it, b/c I am pretty new to the business and still figuring it out for myself.

Re: Matrix Pricing

Around us the Magic is $40 walkin and no less than $35 package.
Same for Matrix. No monthlys on High Pressure.
