Did anyone elses not go over so well?
Mine didn't either. It seemed that folks were more into the gift certs. than anything. My gift certs didn't sell that well as it was, but better than the stocking stuffers/giftbags. I even started my gift certificate sales in November and it was a bust as far as I am concerned. People really were into purchasing packages and EFT's for their loved ones though.

Re: Christmas giftbags/stocking stuffers

We did a "give and receive" special...........give a gift cert ($35+) and receive 2 free visits (for the giver or receiver) Mostly last minute shoppers bought them. thumbs down on the lotions and stocking stuffers. think i'll do it again for valentines day.

My gift cert program was buy so much in g.c. get so much free in g.c's. People still weren't biting as big as I thought that they would.

Re: Christmas giftbags/stocking stuffers

The lady that bought three of my gift bags came in today with one of her daughters and told me the gift bags were a hit and her kids said it was the best present they got!! :)

Definately thinking of offering gift bags year-round now.... hmmmm....

Re: Christmas giftbags/stocking stuffers

From Dec. 1st thru 24th we sold aprox. 100 gift cards. We did about $1,000 in cards on the 24th alone. We offered the following; Buy $50.00+ card & get a free $5.00 card, $75.00+ get a $10.00 card, and $100.00+ get a $20.00 card. But memberships on the gift cards sold the best. The small bottles of lotions, moisturizers, and body butters did great, people created their own bags & stocking stuffers. We can hardly wait for next year! The free additional gift card is usually given to someone that has not been to us before, so now they stay! Good luck to you all in the up coming season!

Are the stocking stuffers better than the gift baskets?
