We Need More Revenue, Tanners, Etc... I Say If There Is Something I Am Not Doing That You Want Me To Let Me Know And I Will Do It! They Usually Do Not Have Any Suggestions.

I agree with the others. Tell them to just be patient and it will all come together. Season is right around the corner. And, in my opinion, when it does hit, save EVERY PENNY for the off season that is coming right behind it. This is a learning experience for them to see what it CAN be like each off season. I just wonder though about all the things to be considered. To answer whether this could even be a successful salon. Are there many salons around them? Is it in the woods? In a plaza with hair and nails in the same plaza? What are their operating hours? Advertise as much as possible and never take a month off of the advertising. Stay in people's eyes and ears constantly .IMO.

there is a small one in a health club a mile away another one about 8-10 and one about 5 miles away. In a strip mall with a hair salon and a flower shop. Across from a kids pizza place. On a busy street that gets tons of traffic. open 8-9M-F 10-5 sat 12-4 Sun.

I have just completed my first year, and it DOES get better.....Just remember to put money away for the slow season....That is a KILLER....

We are cross marketing with a gym....Working out punch cards for added benefits for the gym...Works great...Just enough to make them want to purchase a package from us....!!

Looks like someone got into the biz falling for the It's Fun... It's Lucrative... It runs Itself story....

if the owners don't understand that all new businesses take 3-5 years to really get established - - - then they should not have taken this risk.

It sounds like you are doing a great job and new clients are coming in ------ don't let their anxiety make you doubt your own value honey.....

If you are sitting there eating bon-bons and playing video games ~ you are not doing your job.... and that does not sound like this is the case.

If they have hives now - - - - wait until july!!!!
