Commission on Montly special??

Hey there,

Should I give commission on the monthly special. It is only offered this month for Christmas....$45 one month...any bed you want.
I haven't posted a commission on this package yet, and my employee seems really pi$$ed off. WTF? Shouldn't he be trying to sell lotions and other packages? We have new people coming in....of course they are gonna want the cheap Christmas deal. It doesn't take skills to sell that package!! It just seems greedy that he expects to get commission for this monthly special.
what would yall do? What is the norm? Please help!!!!

possibly a smaller comision.i only do commision on lotion. i feel customers are comming here to buy tanning its not a hard sale in my eyes.....i have no complaints either

Most salons give commission on products and EFT's. Your employee sounds a little greedy. Maybe he shoud focus on selling more products to up any commission he can get on that. Don't feel that you have to add commission on your specials just to please your employees.

I do a small commission on our tanning packages and the first month of our EFT memberships, because it makes my employees what to sell the larger memberships.

they should only get commission on what they SELL. if you have a great holiday package, it will SELL ITSELF. if its such a great discount, dont discount it even more by giving a cut to your employees who did nothing but sit back and collect the $. make em work for it.

All that give commission on EFT's, do you have a minimum months the client is locked in?

Yup 4 months and a sign up fee.

6 months for the smallest one and 3 months for the rest.
