Solar Meter
Question for you all. What UV-A, UV-B meters do you guys use? And what do you like or dislike about them? I need to get one and want to figure out which one would be the best and easiest to use. I also would like to know where you got yours. TIA!!

Re: Solar Meter
I would start out with a Solarmeter 5.0 which can be used to track the aging of your lamps. Then work your way to the 6.0 which tells you how much UV B is in the lamp and the 7.0 to tell you how long it takes to get to the 4 med's.
I purchased mine from URI but don't remember how much I paid. |

Re: Solar Meter
Another meter thread?! hehe You need them all - each one measures very specific outputs, and without all of the data they provide, you'll go bankrupt. They're very inexpensive compared to most other things you will buy for your business, so cost is no issue. Don't delay, meter something today!! hehe

Re: Solar Meter
I just find myself typing these numbers that are completely meaningless to me in a very well organized spread sheet. Then I try to look all knowing and wise when I view the screen filled with numbers and colors and pretty lines.
Thats what its for right? |
