now what do you say to a client when they ask you "how does lotion achieves this?

i tell them that UV reflects off of dry skin and lotion helps penetrate it.

Ahh but 90% of the clients are afraid of the "C" word...That maybe a simple answer and makes sense to you because you see teh bigger picture. THEY usually do not.

A not so informed client already somewhat scared of what the media says--is true about tanning could interpit that as "HMM maybe I will not get "C" if I do not let teh UV penatrate so deeply.."

Get what I am saying??

Knowledge is power.

All I am saying is dumb down the long version of WHY it is healthier for your skin to use daily, tanning and after lotion... rather then MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO SELL GOO..FASTER.

For all of you out there do not know the truth ..learn itand fast!

And teach it to your staff! Make it PART of their job to know it.

You will have happier clients..probably more of them. And a More Knowledgable staff. That equals what???
MORE MONEY...right?

There is an incentive that we all can understand.

all i know is i gotta get overs to SCUBS salon! hes got strippers spraying themselves with water and double rooms for "couples"! hay SCUB just hire some of those strippers to go into the double room and rub lotion on the clients that will sell the lotion ......LOL

i tell clients moist skin absorbs uv rays ....dry skin reflects uv rays it works here.
