you're wasting your money on tanning sessions without using lotion. Give it to them in numbers, break down the price of the bottle per session. 8.5 ounces of lotion you can get 20-25 uses

Tanning without Lotion is like washing your hair with no shampoo..Your Skin needs to be Moisturized and in teh healthyest state proir to tanning in order to produce a healthy glow.
Those who tan without daily moisturizing proir to tanning will take longer to develop the bronzed skin they so desire. WHY? Mainly becuause our bodies are self repairing--for the most part. Once dry skin is exposed to UV rays--Especially after no Daily, pretanning to Tanning lotion...it goes into "repair mode". Rather then what it is supposed to do. Healthy well balanced skin will be stimulated by the UVB and the UVA in the lamps will pull the melanin to the surface. Initially appearing pink tone4d..after a hour or so...once exposed to air. It will brown. Thusly producing a nice tan. NOW If your skin is dray and not prepared for this process YES you will tan..eventually Causing more UV damage to your skin Burn a few time or at the very least make your dry skin drier and cause rough patches etc. Sorry it is not the ten reasons you wanted---However it is---the correct answer to obtaining and maintaining the bronzed skintone they desire. Also do not forget to tell your clients that while they are tanning---to try to drinking lots of water daily this- helps the tanning processs also. JMHO but what do I know?? |

I have also that tanning is a gradual process it takes 2-8 tanning sessions to get a healthy tan depending on your skin type.BURN does not mean TAN.Using the right products will help achieve this.

You must find a way to explain that in a short version...dumbed down if you will.. To your clients.
For them to understand the process...and take teh steps to protect their skin AND STILL LOOK GREAT. Most clients think that the only way they can protect thier skin is with SPF. Actually educating your clients...NOT just so they will buy lotion from you but to improve the overall health of their skin. If you can do this ----Then you will sell more lotion. JMHO |
