And $100,000 loan for what?? The beds in my salon alone were well over $100,000?

Quote:Thats great info T...but what about the person who also needs some capital to go with that equipment.

Ask your distributor for "rebates" on the equipment instead of the normal bottom line pricing.

Terri is amazing and her company is an A+ in lending. Finally a lender that understands the tanning industry.

She works for Highline Capital who is a direct lender for the tanning industry.

There is no federal grant money for individual business owners. I was told no such thing existed. Above is just one of the many goverment sites confirming this. I would be more than happy for someone to re-direct me to a place that contradicts this and says they do. _________________

THIS IS NOT TRUE! I QUALIFIED FOR ONE THROUGH 'MICHIGAN WORKS'. GO TO YOUR LOCAL UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE AND THEY HAVE ALL THE FORMS. IT IS A LENGTHY PROCESS BUT IT DOES EXIST! ALTHOUGH, I SHOULD ADD THAT I WAS ON DISABILITY FROM A SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT AND THIS WAS A WAY FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO GET ME OFF THE SSI AND INTO MY OWN BUSINESS. I WILL CONTACT MY CASE WORKER TODAY AND FORWARD AS MUCH INFO AS I CAN TO YA'ALL. BUT MINORITIES AND PEOPLE ON STATE AID SEEM TO BE THE ONES THAT BENEFIT FROM THE GRANT PROGRAMS.

Missyhot, I am quoting directly from a federal website. I'm not going to argue it.

I'm also not going to say you didnt get a grant, It looks like yours was a state program. Maybe thats where people need to look. But you cant argue with the federal aspect. Click on the link and look it up yourself.
