Grants to business that employ people with disabilities:

different loan programs in all 50 states..example: Project Success in Colorado

Working Capital Program in Florida

Enterprise fund in Maine

Wise Program in Michigan

Women Entrepreneurs in Ohio..

many more...yes most are for minorities..but you have to remember if you have traced your hertiage, you can sometimes fall into the minority field and another thing, being in rural counties sometimes has a plus too.ALot of states alocate monies for rural counties to bring in new businesses or to keep them alive.

Not a minority or veteran here. I was just thinking I might be able to get some free money under the same programs others here have used.

Just about as long as they want to. You may think of yourself as being a "customer" to many people: lenders, vendors, phone companies, lawyers, electrical company, insurance company, etc. You have to forget about that outdated "customer service" attitude we used to enjoy. You're now the sheep, and your whole existence from here on out is to be there to be sheared by these "parasites". Good luck.

wow, lots of good info thanks ...i have a feeling the loan is going to take a while for them, the buyers, very young couple, under 25 I think. I can't imagine they have alot of credit history, as far as I know they don't have a biz plan. I'm going to talk to them tommorow to express my concerns on the length of the process to see if they can come back to me with something better.
