I think that instead of sending mass flyers everywhere, focus on the residential areas near you. Gas prices being what they are, people are only going to go to your salon if it is conveniant and nearby. Try to get flyers or advertisements to people near you that will actually visit. It does not make sense to try to advertise to everyone when they may live 20 miles away. It has been working for us and we do about 250-300 people on an average day during slow season.

I've found one interesting site in the Internet http://www.770k.com. This company offers favorable services:
770k works in a correct direction, explaining, that such projects are necessary for the development of a modern society and sights. Is it joke? |

Yes, focus on training and ideas on target markets maybe you have not attacked well enough. Sending out mass flyers seems produce little results but I have been looking at specific customers to create a marketing strategy. An example is we are near a gym and I come in once a month run a raffle and had out cards and answer questions. The staff at the gym get deep discounts on tanning and wear my shirts. It has worked out great and my cost is not high the return on this marketing is tenfold then blind DMA stuff.
