The latest information on both Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita as they impact direct mail and telemarketing services.
Direct Mail Alabama Most of the state remains unaffected by storm damage, however, services are limited in the following areas: Bayou La Batre, Dauphin Island, Mobile and Eight Mile. Louisiana Retail delivery and drop shipments have been suspended in zip codes 700, 701, 703 and 706. Mississippi Suspension of standard mail remains in effect for zip code 395. Partial service is available in Gulfport, Bay St. Louis, Stennis Space Center, Biloxi, Gautier, Kiln, Pascagoula Pass Christian, Pearlington and Waveland. Texas Retail and delivery service are suspended in Texas ZIP Codes 776 and 777. Telemarketing Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco of Louisiana has issued a proclamation to prohibit all telephone solicitation through October 20, 2005. |
