Many of us who have worked in the corporate world have felt the sting of being let go during lean times. It was Status Quo in the mortgage business coinciding with the rise and fall of interest rates.

Supporting Employees in the lean times is not the issue, keeping the doors open is.
Try not to take it personally, it's just business, and when one door closes....update your resume!

This time of year I lay off bed techs.

This year two of them got lucky. Positions opened up behind the counter and they got a promotion instead of a pink slip.

OUr customer rep from salon support is gone..
we will not be purchasing from them anymore...the new rep is always calling,,,i dont like that..I will call ya when i need something.

That is so strange. I've been using Salon Support without problems. I call when I need stuff, I never get calls from them (Other than the one time just to tell me that they had to send a second shipment because the first was returned with leaking bottles and that was shipped overnight), and I receive what I ordered (plus other stuff free)when they say it will be here. So sorry you guys are having problems.
