people are full of crap. they dont even know why they ask you that... they think you are supposed to feel like you are frying to get color...

Good point, TC1. I think I'll start offering Crisco in a cup. Maybe they will feel better... then again, I'll just P-off my girls. They wouldn't want to clean that up. LOL

I change them now as a bed needs it, not the whole salon, so there is always at least one that has just been changed. It helps split the cost up thoughout the year and I can honstly say Oh, I changed them earlier this month, (customer doesn't need to know it was just room 4) My good regulars know which is new and ask for that room but I am happy to oblige.

I changed my standup lamps in May (nearly 1000 bucks!)and told a new customer that she was one of the first to use them. 6 weeks later she said, "youve had those bulbs over a month now, aren't you going to change them?" I couldn't reply!!!

I just turn "off" my neon "New Lamps" sign after two hundred hours. I'd to have a customer come in and meter my lamps and bust me with a fraudulent "New Lamps" claim. That would be false advertising. You could get into big trouble by advertising falsely. Furthermore, I've thrown away all my "This Bed Has Been Sanitzed" cards thanks to the "Calm me down" and the "Do you clean the canopy acrylics after each session" threads.
