Weekly Mix

We do lotion shots here in my salon, I was wondering if anyone tried anything like the "Weekly Mix" with some of the lotions that you use for shots? Price accordingly to the lotions you mixed...Looking forward to hearing your opinions!

I do this on the weekends to allow customers to try different lotions.
Currently I have out DS Ray of Light, AG Golden Tingling Glaze, and Supre Smoke Tan Maximizer.

OK I am SO lost, what do you mean by shots and mixes? Are you actually mixing the lotion or what??

No they are just put in your standard sample cup no mixing of different lotions. We call them shots for fun.

gotcha ~ thanks for the idea~ i already did sample cups now I am letting them do thier own and they have 4 lotions to choose from so they can mix them up if they want! good idea I just sold 2!

Just sold 1 more, they love it! I set up a little "bar" and give them thier choice of shot! a single shot, which is half a cup is $3.00 a double shot which is a full cup is $5.00 they can have as many as 1 lotion or try all 4! So far we are having fun with it!

I have gotten on my girls for this. If you sell a mix and they like it what do you do - you cant sell them a bottle. If you can get them to buy 2 bottles great - that would be a hard sell though. Why do these mixes always seem to work better though? Iv got a bottle i dump everything left over in. It is the best lotion. Could we mix a whole bottle and sell it? I like that idea? Has anyone tried that?
