thanks to everyone that answered my question and actually tried to give me some good advice.
this will surely give me something to think about and may be a great opportunity!
as for the people on this site who have attitudes and are condensending, take a vacation , learn some people skills, and encourage those willing to learn. your employees would probably be greatfull.

You'll need some backbone when you have to deal with teh stuff that you have no experience with.

Backbone to put up with alot of stuff and rubber gloves to clean up what the others leave behind!!! lol

Im sure the golf business is a bed of roses customer service wise. Welcome to the board - lots of luck. Depending on the subject some of us will try to get after you. Most of it is just in fun. I love getting someone riled up.

I like you know i could leave this business and manager any other successfully. You can adapt and learn as you go. Study up. Know you beds and be careful with people and thier time. Slower is better for them and the electric bill. Let your owners know they have also missed there window. If they are not already open be ready for a tuff year. November - Febuary are the months to open in. Thats my opion. Now watch how people jump on me. BRING IT ON!
