Grand Opening in 1 Week, help

We are about to open in in 5 days, we believe we have everything ready to roll, but as I have seen here many times, someone can bring up the missing link. So my question is, what am I missing. I know I haven't listed anything, but what have most salons missed on their opening day? Just a background of the salon, we are TanAmerica bedded, 4 Santa Barbaras, 1 SunUp II, 1 Catalina, 1 Matrix L58 and 1 Summer Image 6 second spray booth. We are ready, but we want to hear some missing links from the already open salons, so your input will be greatly appreciated.

Marching band bull horn, 100,000 home mailer, Aerial planes with banners flying by, the designer skin girls, lotion give away, free tans, oversized ballon on roof, the biggest banner that would fit across the salon, a show of the salon.

Just free tan and lotion give away would be good too.

Your gonna love the Matrix L-58 so will your clients great unit. It will silence other VHR units in the area.

We have already done a community mailer, we seen the add already and have already fielded phone calls, so that worked. The balloon idea has been in mind, does it work. I mean it's only $20 bucks a day, so is it a go?

Key is you want to cause so much frickin attention that people just have to drop in.

not sure we can answer that for you!! its different everywhere!!But GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!my only advice would be to have the cleanest salon, friendliest knowledgable staff and the most updated units.

Definitely, the location is already bringing attention, we are located to a hair salon on the right (no tanning), and a nail salon on the right of that (no tanning, so alot of their customers are already hounding, when you gonna open? Plus, we are making friends with the employees of both those salons....!

Thanks coconut, clean is a must for me just in general, I am very partial to that, and our staff was thoroughly picked, we will be clean, NO DOUBT. Friendliness is easy with my people so lets hope it lasts, thanks for the reply. Lets hoppe it works..

Make darn sure everyone that will have be working in the store, even the *snow cone person, knows the beds and pricing programs back to front and then back again. *People love 25cent snow cones in the summer. Good luck.
