we are in the process from switching over from sheets to computer (FINALLY)...i was just wondering how everyone likes it...i have heard alot of good feedback about them on here...ALSO my main question about helios is do alot of you use the keycard's? the lil barcode cards that go on peoples keychains that you scan as they come in? and also do alot of you use there fingerprint scanner? seems like a good setup...basically impossible for people to steal yet its more convenient for both us and the customer.

Helios has some nice trinkets for sure. I'm sticking to my Ver. 9.4 though. I have no need for the barcode hassles etc.. As for the theft part, if they want it, they'll take it, no tanning software will stop that.
I think, once you've got the system up and running, it will be a joy compared to client cards. |

completely agree with if they want it they are gonna take it...but when it comes to clients...i really like the idea of each client having a key card for there key chain...to me thats also good advertisement...plus its also kinda convienent for the customer and also employee..only thing i would worry about is if a customer has a package if they would give there card to a friend to use...thats where the fingerprint scanner comes in handy...or i guess you could just ask each client for there id? with me is i wanna get more into the technology aspect of tanning and make things easier so we can also make more money but i just dont want things to get out of hand and confusing going from one thing to another...

Good points. We did almost do the finger print thing this year but i guess the idea died. I just think it may cut down the interaction with customers. I dont know how it works though. If i ask you your name and then the print confirms it - that i would like. You come in and do the print first - i would not like that. Maybe i would. I dont know now the whole thing is getting out of hand. The card thing - who pay for that. Im sure you can pass along the cost. What if i lose the card or it tears up. If you know who i am do i really need the card. Just seems like one more thing. How often do you see other peoples keys? Sorry to bring up the negatives but thats how i think. I always think someone is tryin to screw me. Josey im still thinkin of you!

i know what your saying ^ but also you cant please everyone...your always gonna have someone tramping about something...honestly i think people see each others keys more than you think...for example if you goto the gym and hang them up...friends and family will most likely see them...i wouldnt assume its gonna be GREAT advertisement but sumthin is better than nuthin...also the cards you have to pay for yourself...if someone loses or tears the card then they are out of luck...whenever they come in you just have to look them up the old fashioned way...with the cards i would just see it as being convienent and semi-free advertisement...with the finger print thing it wouldnt be something you have to use all the time...as clients start to come in hopefully you learn who they are and there name so theres no need for a finger print id...but also the fingerprint id protects employees passwords also..but then again i dont know ANYTHING 100% for sure...i dont know if you can scan every other client or if every person has to be scanned...its something i need to look more into and also whats why i posted on here to see if anyone has it...if anyone has anymore info about the cards or fingerprint scanning share your info
