depends, some managers do everything (especailly if the owner is silent.) Others take on lighter responsibilities, it all depends on the needs and wants of the owner. Definitely do a search and see if that helps. Ask the owner of the salon what they are looking for you to do and calcualte your pay on those tasks.

Exactly. It depends on whatever the owner decides they want a manager to do. Are you asking as an owner or manager or employee?

Salon (One Salon) Manager's Position Description:

As a salon manager, you will be responsible for EVERY ASPECT OF SUCCESSFUL, PROFITABLE OPERATIONS of your assigned salon as defined by your supervisor. Your position responsibilities have no limitation in breadth and scope, and may be altered at any point and time without any notice whatsoever in order to meet operations, goals, sales and performance objectives for you and your subordinates. You are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except when you are on vacation.
