What do you look for in your quarterly reports?
I know I like to write out every statistic that I can get my hands on...we want to know monthly sales year to year, number of customers year to year, average of how much each customer spent for the quarter, how many sessions vs. last year, also -promotions we did this year...I think this is sooooo important.
I know, I will not remember what and when we did certain specials, and I would think you would want to know what you are up against last year vs. this year, this will help you with pacing and know know what is coming up.

What else do you measure?

Wow..there is no way you understand me already....I happen to love Crystal Reports...but lets take it down way down...what do you do on a quarterly basis....what do you measure?....
I know I have been putting together our promotions so we remember next year what we are up against.....

I'll be happy to get into this with you, I think it's great info to share...but not tonight! This is my first night getting out of the salon before midnight in quite some time--so I'm going home. g'nite!

But I will give you a hint...everything I track is on columnar pads and cards...

Crystal Reports is an amazing program...we utilize this program to create a ton of reports that we would like to see.

Crystal Reports can create pretty much any report you are looking for...if you wanted to have a list of anyone who has not been in your salon in 6 months...you hit one button...if you would like to take an Expense out of Quickbooks and take data from your salon software , and then subtract it from your bank account, it could do it
Crystal Reports is basically a report writter...and your options are endless.....

Where can I find crystal reports (website)? Does it cost? Or is it shareware, freeware?
