I make copies of my CD's and keep the original at home.

If the copies start coming up missing then let them bring their own or listen to the sounds of silence.

we just started with DMX and I think I will like it a lot better...we have been through CD players on the wall and people abuse them and the DMX systems are nice with 4 choices of music and they loop commercials for your salon...we then order the custom head pillows with speakers in them....it costs more upfront but you will pay the same with broken cd players and headphones! I really like having two commercial playing per session...get them when they are relaxed and can concentrate on your ad!

I would take the caps off and then they may not disappear as rapidly. But seriously, give them a cd, and make sure you get it back.......... ~shrug~

Our salon is ran by reciver, amp, and cd player up front. We put in the cds or play a couple of diffrent radio stations. If they dont want to listen they hit the switch on the wall.

The new trick is an ipod. I put a selection of songs on the ipodidy, put the ipod in front of the receiver, there is about 900 songs in it now. That cuts out the commercials.

Keep the CD display behind the counter, so they have to ask for it. Have the counter person open the case and hand them the bare CD, so the open case will still be on the counter when the customer returns. That way, you'll know who has what and whether or not they brought it back.
