Will the mystic or any other spray booth go wireless? I thought I was a OEM client what happened JOKE.

Genius,
Yes, the spray guys will be supporting the wireless stuff.
I need to clarify my OEM comment. We sell our timers through disty's and bed manufacturers. OEM acconts are bed manufacturers that install T-Max timers in the tanning units.

TotalEclipse,
It's amazing to sit here and scroll through and see how many hours each bed has run for. These beds are all less than a month old, so they all have no numbers...

If your beds have run at least one hour, they should show numbers in the hour counters. You should also see numbers in the session counters.
We also track minutes, but most salon owners only care about the hours.

Dan

TotalEclipse,
Thanks, I should have read your post closer. No numbers meant low compared to end of the season.
T-Max timers have been around for 10 years, so yes, I have seen timers that have really big numbers in the session counters.

Next time I visit Dallas, I'll give you a shout.

Dan

Thanks Dan, that would be neat...I think the only people outside the stores I've ever talked to are our Supre reps, and the guys from Mist-on!!

TotalEclipse,
I hit Dallas at least once a month. I'll return in a few weeks.
I'll e-mail you before my next visit.

Thanks,
Dan

Any advice appreciated.
What i would do is put a camera in the waiting room faceing the interance to the tanning bed's to veiw all who goes toward the tanning bed's and then you could see if they are tanning or what they are doing counting images and comparing then to your daily log book's it really helped me at my shop

Wink Re: This may be a real dumb question but.....

I had to install a camera at the interance of my shop toward the tanning bed's hallway or enterance .But it did help me to keep track of who was Tanning and who was stealing session's every even i would compare the people count's against the computer and the log book's. I caught the person and LET's JUST SAY SHE NO LONGER WORK's FOR ME LOL

Re: This may be a real dumb question but.....

If you have a T-Max manager pro then you can check the amout of session on each bed. Checking the bed timers for me wouldn't really work because one of our beds is a 7 minute max, if some people do 5 or 6 it's too much adding up to figure out what makes an hour.

Re: This may be a real dumb question but.....

i have a friend who owns a salon in PA and discovered her employees were stealing lotions and selling em on EBAy!!!

Regarding the TMAX - as they are daisy chained and set up so you are able to by-pass an out of commission bed - it is possible to operate that unplugged bed without it reflecting on the software - with a manual start up... but all beds have timers on them and you can compare the hours with whatever software you have and see if the hours match.
