Mj, we do it all the time. we have had computer problems several times and all you have to do is disconect the T-Max from the computer and disconect the power cord and plug it back in. Then just enter them through the T-Max directly.

T-Max timers are designed to keep your salon running if your computer goes down.
The timers also have integrated features to help limit theft. #1) T-Max Manager's require a key for stand-alone use. #2) T-Max Manager Pro's require a unique password for stand-alone use. Also, every T-Max timer (3A's and all OEM timers) include several counters that track session hours and session counts. Every counter can be checked from the front desk. Parameters 5 & 6 monitor session counts and hours. These counters can be reset if you install new beds or lamps. Parameter 15 is a non-changeable counter. It counts every sesssion. No way to change this counter. It cannot be reset or altered. If you are concerned about employees starting sessions without the computer, use parameter 15 to check for variations. Dan Boone, ADI |

Tell them Dan. This company saved me last busy season when 26 out 30 tmax did not work Tech support fixed it. Dan and ADI are great. Dan are the wireless systems out yet? And if so how do they work? They need a workstation. The poit of this is so you can through up your walls etc. With less work right.

Genius,
We started working on the AP-900 wireless timers four years ago. We installed the timers in salons two years ago to give our key OEM customers the opportunity to evaluate the technology. After two years, the OEM guys were ready to release the product. In Orlando, Heartland, ETS, PC Marketing, SUN/Ergoline & Soltron were running their beds on AP-900 networks. These OEM accounts have received the bulk of the initial shipments. We are shipping retail AP-900 modules now. These are wireless modules for 3A timers. Most new beds now ship with T-Max timers integrated into the tanning unit. These timers are ready to accept the AP-900 modules. Some already have the AP-900 wireless links built into the tanning units. More will follow over the next few months. Will it work through your walls? Yes. What is the distance? 300 feet. Less Work? Yes, no need to run low voltage wiring and conduit. Can the AP-900 wireless stuff only control the timer? Go to the next tradeshow, you might be surprised. Dan Boone, ADI |

Salontouch is the software we use at the salon, customer service has been a pain, but it is simple to use and it tells you every transaction, who put who in what bed and for how long, as well as minutes on the beds. We also have T-max, ya if you have given the codes to managment or to employees they can manualy enter in a client or friend, but the minutes on the beds compaired to Salontouch would not add up, Thats how we caugh our "little miss sticky fingers"

Wow Dan...I've been sitting here the past 10min playing with the t-max now!! I know when the comps have gone down and we enter the code it always says "get params" and until right now, I did not know what that was for!! It's amazing to sit here and scroll through and see how many hours each bed has run for. These beds are all less than a month old, so they all have no numbers, but I would love to go out to one of the stores that's been open 10 years and see the #s there since you said parameter 15 can never be reset!!
Thanks for the info!!!!! |
