I think all salon software tracks the bed usage, but that doesn't help when nothing is entered into the computer.

Not all salon software does! Salon Iris does not! It tracks client minutes, not bed usage.

You cannot turn our beds on without the computer.
I can see where they could put someone through on someone elses package.

All salon software will track who is tanning. All software will print out a report who has tanned that day. Now if there is some software that will not print out a report who has tanned. They should not have made the software.

We use SunLync on the computers and a T-max timer for the beds, but I still think it is not completely possible to have every minute accounted for in these beds. It is possible to put someone in through the T-max using the code and it won't deduct from the bed hours on the computer. Most owners may say that employees shouldn't know the t-max code, but if your computers crash, or there's a connection error you still want to be able to service your clients, and it becomes necessary to use just the t-max to put them in a bed. So if there's still a way to account for hours just through the t-max, let me know!!!!

It does not interface with the beds.
It only tracks client minutes. Client minutes & bed minutes may or may not be the same...
Too many ways to get around the client issue such as a bypass code on the TMax

There will always be ways to steal, you just do as much follow up as possible, but if thats the only thing that you get burned on consider yourself lucky.
