A customer comes in today letting us know what a great customer she is, how she spends soo much $$...blah, blah, blah
and to top it off she says "I even change the roll of toliet paper when it is empty." Can you believe it! Wow, did you wipe your a$$ yourself and flush it to? I can't believe someone would actually say this! I just had to laugh. |

Shoot em a smile and tell them how much you like having them as a customer. Then tell her thanks for changing the roll and ask if she needs any help with anything..
Sounds like the best way to handle em to me, They ussualy just need someone to say thanks:) if they use that as leverage to buy something or get a discount i would laugh and say thanks and remind them of the price again and then tell them i appreciate the effort in trying. LOL!! I get that sometimes, too. BUT...At the end of it they usually say, "So can I get a discount?" Some people do things like that just to be nice. Then, some people do things like that while thinking in the back of their minds, "So what do I get? Whatcha gonna give me? Somethin' free? Huh? huh? huh???"..LOL! I am glad you got a giggle out of it!
